Whats a fresh 48? It's those moments between bringing your baby earth-side and entering back into real life. It's getting to know the little person who kicked you for 40 or so weeks. Finding the dimples, hearing the first hiccups and cries, and making sure there are 10 fingers and toes.

Once I get in contact with you and we land on a date, I will send you a link to book your session. In that link you’ll find your session contract and a spot to pay your 20% deposit. Completing the booking process is what gets you and your family onto my calendar! You’ll have 48 hours from the time I send you the booking link to secure your date and time.

Any time during your third trimester. Most of my mamas will schedule their session around 30-36 weeks of gestation. But honestly, it’s to your comfort. If you know you’ll be miserable in your late third trimester, totally push it closer to that 28-30 week mark. And just because you’re past that 36 week mark, doesn’t mean you can’t do a maternity session. I’m just thinking of your comfort!

When you schedule your maternity session of course! Definitely consider doing so to take advantage of the bundle offer. However if you’d like to book newborn alone, I highly recommend contacting me in your 2nd - 3rd trimester. I do have families contact me after baby is born, however scheduling can be difficult due to availability.

For Fresh 48 sessions, those typically take place 24-48 hours after baby is born, before you are discharged from your birthing facility. For Lifestyle Newborn sessions, ideally within 5–10 days for those sleepy, delicate poses. But I understand your little one sets the pace — if scheduling later feels better, we’ll work it.

That’s okay! I offer sessions in cozy studios or outdoors (weather permitting). Wherever you choose, I aim to capture the calm and connection of early parenthood.

YES! Your booking gets you my client-only Family Style Guide and access to my client closet! I’m also available via text or email to help give you second opinions on what everyone should wear!

I do not offer mini newborn sessions. Photographing newborns can often take a lot of time. I make sure I have plenty of time to capture all of the precious newborn moments and I do not want to put pressure on the parents if baby is fussy or needs to take several breaks throughout their session. You can absolutely bring your newborn to a pre-scheduled mini session!
